2023 Holiday Adopt-a-family
The holiday gift giving project is long running tradition of the hockey team. Each year the team adopts a family and purchase gifts for each family member, wrapping and delivering them during the holiday season. This project showcases the team's commitment to giving back to the community and spreading holiday cheer.
H2O for Life Fundraiser
H2O for Life offers a service-learning opportunity designed to engage, educate and inspire youth to take action to solve the global water crisis by raising awareness and funds to support implementation of water, sanitation and hygiene education projects for global partner schools.

In the 2022-23 season our team, along with the girls basketball team, did a H20 For Life fundraiser. With the funds raised, these two school projects were completed as of January 2024

Community engagement is about building authentic relationships and collaborative partnerships that contribute to the overall success of the community. The opportunity to interact with our hockey players can inspire young people interested in sports to follow their dreams.
Sophie's Squad 5K
Sophie's Squad was founded in 2021 to improve the mental health of athletes from youth to college by raising awareness of mental health issues and removing the stigma associated with seeking help. For more information visit: https://sophiessquad.org
